Unblinding

Unblinding refers to the process by which the identifying information for a patient or group of outcomes from a clinical trial is revealed to the subject and/or investigators conducting the clinical study. In other words, the procedure in which one or more parties involved in a blinded clinical trial are made aware of the therapy assignment(s).
