Inclusion criteria

In a clinical study, inclusion criteria are the set of medical and/or social characteristics which are necessary for a person to be allowed to participate in a clinical study, as outlined in the study protocol. In addition to meeting inclusion criteria, a possible participant must also not meet any of the exclusion criteria.
