Imaging data
« Back to Glossary IndexImaging data, as defined relevant to clinical care, registries, and clinical trials, are the test results obtained from imaging tests. Imaging types include computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), mammography, nuclear scans, positron emission tomography (PET) scans, x-rays, and ultrasounds. These types of imaging are grouped together as diagnostic imaging/radiology but are also used to monitor and screen for medical or health related conditions or diseases.
